Introducing Our Expanded Warehouse Network and New Northeast Capabilities
We’re excited to share some important updates as Mercedes Scientific continues to grow and invest in better service for our customers nationwide. Over the past year, we’ve expanded our distribution footprint and capabilities with the opening of new warehouse locations, including a strategic acquisition that strengthens our presence in the Northeast.
Expanding Our Distribution Network
In October 2024, we opened a new warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah, strengthening our ability to serve customers across the West and Mountain states. This centrally located facility allows us to reduce transit times, improve order efficiency, and provide more reliable fulfillment for customers in the region.
More recently, in September 2025, we expanded into the Northeast with the opening of our Marlboro, New Jersey warehouse, strengthening our ability to serve customers throughout the tristate area and surrounding states. This expansion was made possible through the acquisition of Bell Medical Systems, a well-established Marlboro-based company with a strong presence across the Northeast.
Through this partnership, Mercedes Scientific gained both a third distribution center and expanded capabilities in pharmaceuticals. Bell Medical’s expertise allows us to now support pharmaceutical offerings, opening new opportunities while keeping inventory closer to some of the country’s most active healthcare and laboratory markets.
Bell Medical Systems will remain a stand-alone entity within Mercedes Scientific, allowing both organizations to collaborate closely while continuing to serve customers with the expertise, service, and focus they expect.
What This Means for Our Customers
With warehouse locations in Salt Lake City, UT; Marlboro, NJ; and Lakewood Ranch, FL, our expanded distribution network allows us to:
- Ship orders from the closest available warehouse whenever possible
- Reduce delivery times and shipping distances – most customers are within in a 2–3-day transit time
- Improve reliability through regional inventory coverage
- Expand access to pharmaceutical products through Bell Medical Systems
These investments reflect our ongoing commitment to building a stronger, more resilient supply chain, one designed around customer needs today and growth opportunities tomorrow.
